Access
Access to the studio is by car from Furzebrook Road.
All of Furzebrook studios are suitable for wheelchair users. All units are on the ground floor, accessible via a corridor and wide doors.
There is also access to the outside area of flat grassland and a short walk (5 mins) to the heathland, via a private gate and footpath, (accessible only for students at the studio).
Parking:
There is ample free parking at the premises for visitors and students attending classes.
Please turn into the drive of 52 Furzebrook Road, Furzebrook, Wareham BH20 5AX.
The gate will be open when one of the artist/makers is present.
Facilities:
The studios are clean and bright. There are toilets and a shared kitchen on site.
There is seating space outside the studio, looking onto the woodland and heathland, suitable for outdoor classes, – a wonderful space for drawing, watching birds, deer and other wildlife.
‘earth art & design studio’has a large table suitable for 10 students in a class. Julie has a personal collection of natural finds and arts & crafts are on show, to inspire the classes.
